Art Tuftee has been our project lead on our Nature Trail and Bridge project. This past Friday and Saturday we moved two 36′ glulams a quarter of a mile into the bridge site. The Mount Vernon Parks Foundation is hosting a raffle to raise funds for projects like the new bridge we are building in Little Mountain Park. Tickets are $5 and you do not have to be present to win. Please see the details.

We mixed, transported and poured the concrete last weekend and it went exactly as planned. We moved the 36′ White Alaskan Cedar Glue Lams close to the bridge site. MVTB would like to thank the DNR fire crew for helping our trail building efforts on Little Mountain this past Friday. They were able to get some training while helping to clear the path for a new trail in Little Mountain Park.

Our plan is to finish our bridge forms and continue setting more rock and gravel. Friday we start at 9:00 am. Saturday we start at 10:00 am. Since we have no featured groups this weekend we need your help.
