Friday and Saturday were great sessions

We had a great group of volunteers join us on Friday and Saturday this week to get the concrete bridge footings poured. On Friday the two 36′ glulams were delivered.

They were carefully moved down the trail closer to the bridge site.

On Saturday Art Tuftee setup a high line across the creek where the bridge will be built so that we could move buckets of concrete across and pour the far footing.

We’d like to thank Big Lake Grocery for the lunch they provided on Friday. And also thank you to the Mount Vernon Food Co-Op for their continued support.
We hope to see you all again next Friday and Saturday as we begin building the bridge.
