We mixed, transported and poured the concrete last weekend and it went exactly as planned. We moved the 36′ White Alaskan Cedar Glue Lams close to the bridge site. This weekend we’ll strip the forms and set and affix the beams. We hope you’ll want to be a part of this important milestone.
On Friday we’ll start at 9:00 am, and on Saturday at 10:00 am. Friday you’ll need to bring your own lunch, but Saturday our group is providing a lunch of Subway sandwiches. We believe in feeding our volunteers, but it’s hard to pull off. Right now we can afford it because a couple individuals made generous donations. If any of you know of a deli or a restaurant that would like to help with donations, or by providing MVTB with great deals, we’d love to hear about it.
