Mount Vernon Trail Builders was one of four participants in the Skagit Valley Food Co-Op‘s Token for Tomorrow program. This program raised $220.30 for our organization. Thank you to the Co-Op and those of you who contributed to our program.

Keeping Little Mountain Park healthy and natural
Last Friday we walked our newest trail, La-Z-Boy, with a Restoration Ecologist. He’d donated some trees and expressed an interest in our work. Improvements to the service road
During our last session gravel was distributed down the service road in order to help make it a little less muddy. The weather was great and the wildflowers were in bloom.

This Saturday we will be putting the finishing touches on our La-Z-Boy drainage projects. The third bridge was built last session. Come on out and see it. The Esteps have also said they will be bringing their soup at lunchtime, always a trail builder favorite.
