Join us tomorrow, Saturday July 9th

Friends, followers, and trail builders,

Good news, our plan has come together. We’re doing something different. Paul Marczin, an experienced Restoration Ecologist, is leading an effort to ensure the general health of our trail corridor. So this is also a learning session.

Paul will be leading our effort to put the finishing touches on our trails. The trails we’re referring to lead from the park entrance to the summit; they are called La-Z-Boy, Huff-N-Puff and Sidewinder.

We’ll be pulling Herb Robert (a noxious weed), covering bare soils with duff (organic materials) – and bringing in mulch where we have inadequate amounts of duff. For clarity sake, the duff (and mulch) help to naturally deter weed growth.

We hope you’ll join us.
