2013 is off to a great start
Last Saturday we had a very productive trail building session with about 17 volunteers participating. We connected the East Trailhead to La-Z-Boy and the trail is now ready for hikers and bicyclists. There is still some finish work we need to do, but overall the trail is in great shape and usable. Once again weContinue reading “2013 is off to a great start”
Thank you, trailbuilders!
MVTB is sending out a heartfelt Thank You to all of the trailbuilders who came out in 2012 and donated their time to build new trails in Little Mountain Park. This year we completed Bonnie & Clyde’s Trail and Ginny’s Trail in the northwest corner of the park. We then spent the bulk of theContinue reading “Thank you, trailbuilders!”
Join us Saturday Oct 27th
We’re working to connect the new Nature Trail to La-Z-Boy. Our session will start at 10:00am on Saturday, and we’ll have donated Starbucks Coffee and pastries from Haggen Foods. Lunch is being provided by the Estep family, so we’re in for a treat. Thanks Leslie! We hope you’ll come out and give us a hand.
Join us Saturday Oct 13th

We believe the East Entrance will be a very popular trailhead. We hope to see you Saturday. Our session will start at 10:00am at theContinue reading “Join us Saturday Oct 13th”

The ribbon was cut and everyone wasContinue reading “The Nature Trail and Bridge are officially open”
The Nature Trail is done
The Nature Trail is done and we could not be more pleased. Friday and Saturday we got back to our excellent volunteer turnouts. We finished the capping of the trail with an hour of daylight left. We knew it would be close, but this was amazing. The session was extraordinary in a number of ways:Continue reading “The Nature Trail is done”
Help us finish our Nature Trail & Bridge project before our ribbon cutting celebration
Good news, we see the finish line on this project. The bridge is done, we just have some rock walls to finish and crushed rock to spread. With large volunteer turnouts both Friday and Saturday we’ll finish it just in time for the ribbon cutting celebration on September 28th. We are starting at 9:00AM bothContinue reading “Help us finish our Nature Trail & Bridge project before our ribbon cutting celebration”

Join our work party this Friday and Saturday, Aug 24/25
