Good news, we see the finish line on this project. The bridge is done, we just have some rock walls to finish and crushed rock to spread. With large volunteer turnouts both Friday and Saturday we’ll finish it just in time for the ribbon cutting celebration on September 28th.
We are starting at 9:00AM both days and lunch will be provided for you.
Everyone is invited to our ribbon cutting celebration on September 28th. Please RSVP to the Mount Vernon Parks Foundation. Afterwards some people plan to hike, run, or ride. Then at 6:00 pm downtown there will be an all ages after party where we’ll enjoy trail building photos, appetizers, beverages and dessert. And most importantly we’ll be discussing our next project.
We hope to see many of you this coming weekend and at the festivities!
