On September 28th we had our ribbon cutting and celebration for the Nature Trail and our new bridge. People gathered at the new east park entrance for a short presentation by Larry Otos, the Director of the Mount Vernon Parks Foundation, Mayor Jill Boudreau, and Mary Alice Vivian.
The ribbon was cut and everyone was invited to walk out the trail to see the bridge. Come on out to the east entrance and see the new bridge for yourself.
We’ll be connecting this trail to the rest of the existing Little Mountain Park trail system sometime this fall. Please feel free to join our trail work parties the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month.
