Skagit Trail Builders honored by Skagit County Commissioners

JT, Jerry, and Art were honored by the Skagit County Commissioners for their trail work at Northern State Recreation Area. Pictured left to right: Commissioner Lisa Janicki, recreation volunteers Bob and Fred, trail volunteers Jerry, Art, and JT, Commissioner Ron Wesen.

On April 10 the Skagit County Commissioners honored our leadership team for their commitment to public trails.

Projects that benefit communities and public health could not exist without public support. Thanks to our volunteers and donors for helping make community trails a reality!

The project at Northern State Recreation Area is a collaboration between Skagit Trail Builders (STB), Skagit County Parks and Recreation, the Port of Skagit, the City of Sedro Woolley, and United General District 304.

Since 2019, STB has done work to connect properties managed by these three entities, building two bridges, completing two trails, and begun work on a third trail.
