Trail Update: Spring Work Party April 8

Here’s the plan for our work party Saturday, April 8.

We will be splitting up into three teams:

  • Gravel capping on Hill Creek Trail– We need three people to operate power carriers, delivering gravel to the trail site. We also need 3-4 people to rake and compact.
  • Trail side restoration on Hill Creek Trail- This involves grading soil, transplanting ferns, and other tasks to make the trail look natural.
  • Spring cleaning on the Pump House Trail– For those who would like lighter work, we’ll have a team tidying up the Pump House Trail.

Sign up through our website (so we know you are coming, it helps us plan!)

Work parties are scheduled 9am-4pm. Plan to arrive at the Pump House Trailhead at 8:50 am so you have time to sign in and grab coffee before we start our safety meeting.

Bring lunch and water.

We are expecting warmer springtime weather with light passing rain showers. As always, wear layers and bring a rain coat!

Volunteers under age 18 need to bring a signed minor waiver form.
