Trail Update: Volunteers Making Connections on March 22

On Saturday, March 22 we were joined by 49 volunteers!

Thanks to Julie and the gang from HKP Architects, along with Christy, students and parents from Kids ‘n K9s 4H Club, and ALL our volunteers for showing up in the rain and putting in the work. We made new friends and got a lot done!

Rain or Shine: Volunteers Caring for Local Trails Amid Federal Uncertainty

Volunteers with Skagit Trail Builders completed rock work on 10 culverts, walked miles and miles to deliver rock sand for trail capping, and completed much needed restoration work at Northern State Recreation Area on March 8, 2025.

While our local trail system isn’t directly impacted by the recent federal layoffs, we’re feeling the ripple effects throughout our trail community.

Trail Update: Work Party Plan for Jan 11, 2025

Welcome to our first work party of 2025! We are continuing the work from Dec 14, building a rock wall at the Pump House Bridge, improving the elevated trail, and clearing briars and organic material to restore the width of the trail.
