Trail Update: Rock Wall Improvements on Hill Creek Trail, Jan 11, 2025

Thanks to volunteer Anna MacKinnnon for capturing video of of our Jan 11, 2025 work party and sharing it with our Instagram Community! To view more videos from Skagit Trail Builders, follow us on Instagram or Facebook @SkagitTrailBuilders

Another great day of trail work on Saturday, Jan 11, 2025!

The new rock wall and steps at the Pump House Bridge are nearly complete. We expect to finish at our next work party on Jan 25.

Repairs on the elevated trail are done. The crew will concentrate on rock work around the culverts next.

The restoration crew dug blackberry crowns and cut back briars where they were encroaching on the trail near the “rock garden”.

Special thanks to Beth and Ed, who treated us with their beautifully baked homemade scones!
