On Saturday, Nov 9, it rained, we got dirty, and loved it!
But, we also got a ton done….volunteers cleared blackberries at the Pump House Bridge and started work on a second rock wall.
In the lower meadow between Hill Creek and Hansen Creek, we trimmed the tall grass and briars back 4 feet from the elevated trail. Volunteers worked on repairing the trail edge where rocks have become dislodged.
On the Pump House Trail, a crew cut grass back where it was overtaking the trail and trimmed briars.
The salmon run has begun! The Pump House bridge is a great place to watch salmon make their way up stream. Our volunteers enjoyed watching the journey while they worked near the bridge.

Our next work party is schedule for Dec 14. We will continue our stewardship work on Hill Creek Trail.
