Trail Update: Oh, man. What a wet day!

Oh man. What a wet day!

We had thirty-two volunteers at our work party on Saturday, February 24, 2024, building trail in the mud and drizzle.

In spite of rain, much progress was made on the trail corridor through the big meadow, including digging blackberry crowns, creating drainage, installing rock and a culvert.

We were also joined by staff from United General Hospital District 304, one of our primary partners on this project. Beth and Ed brought their famous baked goods and new staffer, Avry. Thanks, y’all!

Gigantic thanks to all these dauntless souls for sticking it out through bad weather and making this trail system possible.

Our next work party is Saturday, March 9. Wear rain gear and boots, bring lunch, and be prepared for spring showers.
