Trail Update: Thanks to Volunteers from Skagit Runners and Washington State University Extension

On June 17 2023 we welcomed volunteers from Skagit Runners and Washington State University Extension. Big thanks to Dr. Lindsey du Toit for organizing volunteers from both groups.

Our goal for the day was to extend the trail to the North Knoll…and we did it! This gives summer hikers a destination while our volunteer crew is on summer break.

Our work will be refining the rough-in work: grading the slope, spreading and compacting tread, and naturalizing trail side. All ages welcome!
