On Thursday, June 7th 2018 at 6:30 p.m., Skagit County Parks and Recreation will host an important meeting. We hope you will attend, sharing your thoughts “in person” at this Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Plan meeting, showing your support for trails. A strong show of support will help make the case for the NSRA trails project!

“The Comprehensive Plan lays the groundwork for the future of our parks and rec system and outlines our priorities for the next six years,” said Parks and Recreation Director Brian Adams. “We want to make sure we’re funding and prioritizing the right programs and projects – and the only way we can do that is by hearing from the people who use our parks and participate in our recreation programs.”

We hope to see as many of you at the meeting as possible, even if you’ve already attended one of the previous meetings. Making an appearance to support trails “in the town” of our next trails project just makes good sense. Trail politics has never been bean bags, we need to collectively show we care!

  • This Thursday, June 7th at 6:30 p.m. – the meeting is going to be held at the Sedro-Woolley Senior Center, located at 715 Pacific Street

We hope to see you there…
