February 9th was another great work session!

The weather cooperated fairly well and we were able to make further improvements on our newest trail. We had a lot of material to move so we were making use of Skagit County Parks and Recreation’s power carrier, which we have used a number of times in the past. Unfortunately it developed a problem preventing it from driving. Steve from Mount Vernon Parks Department came out and fixed it for us on the trail. Thanks to Steve, Mount Vernon Parks and Recreation, and Skagit County Parks and Recreation for their continued support!

This is one of several areas that were fixed that day.

Here is the trail winding its way through the forest.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, Starbucks Coffee, and Haggen. Also thank you to Jenny Sandbo for lunch and to Pat Granahan for minding the camp for us.
