Our May 25/26 sessions

We had 6 workers on Friday and 15 on Saturday. This was an excellent turnout for a holiday weekend. The lead crew removing the duff is at the point where the trail turns east. At that point, we are 175′ from the bridge site. The trail is completed about 75′ back from that point. So we have about 250′ left to complete. So, it looks like we are in good shape to start on the bridge on June 15. At that work session we will be splitting up the crew, some will continuing working on the trail and a few will work on the footings for the bridge.

A big thanks once again to Terry Afdem for his excellent photography.
