Join us Friday and/or Saturday this week

We continue our work on the Nature Trail. Like our last trail building weekend we work Friday (5/11), starting at 9:00 am – and Saturday (5/12), starting at 10:00 am. Since we’ve heard that weekends do not work for many of you we added Fridays. We hope that more of you will make it out, we have a great deal to accomplish before our August 31st deadline.

To find our new trail head stay on Little Mountain Road driving east beyond the park entrance. You will see the gravel piles just past the beaver pond on the right side of the road. Please park safely, making certain you are outside of the painted fog line. And carpool if possible, parking is limited.

Our featured business this weekend is Starbucks Coffee, we hope their promotion bring some new volunteers out. Last session we set a material moving record of 25 cubic yards. Our Co-op volunteers were a pleasure to work with, and they brought out an amazing lunch – thank you. We sincerely hope we see them again. Our top group this year is still North Cascade Family Physicians. Their record of 9 volunteers putting in 33.75 hours in one session stands. And even more impressive, many members of their group are still involved – further running their teams YTD numbers up.

Hopefully we’ll see you Friday or Saturday, and some of you for both.
