We’re pleased to have the Skagit Valley Food Co-Op as our featured group this Friday and Saturday. We will be continuing work on our new nature trail which will connect Little Mountain Rd to the rest of the trail system in Little Mountain Park. Friday’s session starts at 9:00am. On Saturday we’ll have fresh pastries from the Mount Vernon Haggen and hot coffee from Starbucks at 10:00 at the trailhead. The Co-Op is providing lunch.
To get to the trail head, travel east on the Little Mountain Road past the entrance to Little Mountain Park, past the beaver pond. You will see piles of rock about 500′ past the beaver pond which is where the trail head is located. Park alongside the road so that you are off the fog line.
