Join our work parties this Friday and Saturday

We’re starting our biggest project to date. So we’re kicking it off with two sessions next week; the first on Friday at 9:00 am – the second on Saturday at 10:00.

The work will be at the northeast end of our new “Nature/Interpretive Trail.” To get there stay on Little Mountain Road driving beyond the park entrance. You will see it just past the beaver pond on the right side of the road. The new trail head will be where you see the gravel piles. Please park safely, making certain you are outside the painted fog line. And carpool if possible, parking is limited.

On Saturday Kaptein’s ACE Hardware is going to be our featured volunteer group. Their session early in the year was snowed out, which was a first for us.

Last session North Cascade Family Physicians established a 2012 “featured group” record with 9 volunteers putting in a total of 33.75 hours. Prior to that Big Rock Café and Grocery held our top spot. Both groups were amazing, they worked hard and fed all of our volunteers delicious soup. Both are tough acts to follow, setting the bar high for future groups.
