Honoring a local trail builder and donor at the Mount Vernon City Council this Wednesday

On Wednesday November 2nd at 7:00 pm a young volunteer/donor will be honored by the Mount Vernon City Council. Her name is Hannah Levine. Her presentation will be the first event on the City Council’s agenda. It will not take much of your time. I am told that leaving immediately afterwards is perfectly acceptable. We sincerely hope you’ll join us, recognizing her good work – and showing your support to the city for local trails.

To give you a quick background, Hannah and her father Rick have both earned their “core builder” designations. This means they’ve each volunteered more than ten hours, earning their green MVTB volunteer tee-shirts. Hannah not only helps build trails, on her last birthday (she just turned thirteen) she donated $300 of her birthday money. Donations are important to us, they help support our volunteer effort.

Hannah is a remarkable young lady, please join us Wednesday evening:

Time – November 2nd, 7:00 pm
Location – 1805 Continental Place, Mount Vernon (just off of College Way)
Details – Enter the main entrance, the door to the Police Office will be on your right. You’ll see the Municipal Court sign ahead of you and to the left, just walk in and take a seat.

We look forward to seeing many of you there.
