JT & Paul will lead introductions, make announcements, and explain today’s work.
Jenny will explain the jobs and set-up the work groups.
Chloe & Amelia will perform the safety talk

9:30-noon: trail work
Noon: Lunch and Advisory Committee Meeting led by Jenny
12:45-3: trail work
3 pm: Organize and put away tools
4:15 pm: Work Party Planning Meeting (by invitation only)
Objectives for our Nov 8 work party:
(in order of priority)
- Complete all the rock work on the trail section capped last session
- Finish drainage, settling ponds and restoration along the above section of trail
- Do the hand and rock work, to complete the grade reversal and the bench site
- Prepare the staging area to be decommissioned, if the needed time exists
- As time and weather permit, begin capping the new trail routing…



Teams
1. Restoration (majority of volunteers)
Leads: Lynn, Chloe, Amelia
Description: Transplant ferns and naturalize the trail corridor.
2. Rock Work, Drainage, and Capping (6-8 people)
Leads: Paul, Jerry, Jenny
Description: Complete rock work on identified trail section. Complete drainage and settling ponds. Complete grade reversal and develop bench site. If there is time, begin capping of new trail section.
3. Loading power carriers & organizing staging area (JT)
Description: Load gravel and rock into power carriers using the Dingo loader.
4. Power Carrier Drivers (2 people)
Lead: Kip
Description: Carry rock and gravel from the staging area to the work sites. Two will be used for hauling materials.
**Additional teams may be determined on Friday afternoon after the conditions and materials are evaluated.
