A little sunshine makes all the difference!
We had a fun work party on May 11. Our volunteers mixed some play into their work catching garden snakes, playing with a visiting dog and some pack goats (sorry we didn’t get a good picture of that – maybe someone can send us their photo?)
Kip trained two new power-carrier drivers, Blu and Gracie. We love seeing our volunteers step up and learn new skills!
Hill Creek Trail is now connected back to itself, creating a loop about 2 miles long. We hope to complete the rock and finishing sand in our next three work parties before we take a break for summer.
Our next work party is scheduled for May 25. We will be joined by Mountaineers GoHike participants.
