Here’s the plan for Saturday, May 11, 2024.
We are working in the upper meadow (also known as the Big Meadow or Wildflower Meadow) where Hill Creek Trail connects to create a loop.
1. Trail Tread: finish placing, spreading, and compacting mineral soil.
2. Finish hauling off sod, soil, and organic debris from the trail corridor
3. Removing root crowns and prepare the soil for planting….
Starting near the old barn at the north end of the meadow, complete the west side of the trail corridor first (working north to south)
Complete the east side of the trail corridor second (working north to south)
The last hour of the day will be reserved for seeding!
