SEDRO-WOOLLEY — The Skagit Trail Builders continue to work on construction of the Hill Creek Trail at the Northern State Recreation Area.

On Saturday, a volunteer team of Sedro-Woolley High School students lent a hand by clearing a massive bramble of blackberries in what is known as Big Meadow.

Sedro-Woolley High School math instructor Bret Turner, who is the youth coordinator for the Skagit Trail Builders, heads up the high school’s volunteer team that once included only members of the school’s Earth Club but is now open to all students.
