How You Can Volunteer

Training, tools, gloves, snacks, water and lunch are all provided. Volunteer sessions are rain or shine, so prepare for varying weather. We also suggest wearing sturdy shoes and long pants, since tools are being used.

Signing a volunteer waiver is required. For minors a parent or guardian must complete and sign a minor waiver – one for each child volunteering. The waivers are kept on file, and remain active for one calendar year.

It’s about a 15 minute walk to the trailhead. Park at the Skagit County Veterans Park, on Helmick Road – which is just East of Sedro-Woolley on Highway 20. From the parking lot follow our signs and white pin flags to the trailhead. Sessions start at 10:00 am and last until 4:30 pm. It is a family friendly activity. Volunteer for a few hours, or the day – it is a lot of fun!

At ten (10) volunteer hours a STB tee shirt is earned. Thanks for your interest in volunteering!
