Partnerships & Funding

United General District 304

Our partnership with United General District 304 and the Foundation of District 304 began in 2018. As an independent organization partnering with the county, it enabled Skagit Trail Builders to operate as a 501(c)3 and receive charitable donations that can be tax deductible to the donor.

In 2023, Skagit Trail Builders became a program of United General District 304 to support volunteer and fundraising efforts. District 304 provides insurance and fiscal support to so we can focus on our core mission of designing, building, and advocating for trails in Skagit County.

District 304 programs are majority grant funded. Individual and business donations are accepted and appreciated! All donations are collected and processed by the Foundation. District 304 and the Foundation are subject to state and federal audits.

Requests for financial reports should be directed to the Foundation.
