Our work at Northern State Recreation Area is nearly complete. We are excited about our upcoming plans on Port of Skagit property!
This summer our leadership team will wrap up a few projects at NSRA, including installation of a Wind Phone.
On Sept 13, 2025 we will host our final volunteer work party in the park, celebrating with a Ribbon Cutting at Song Sparrow Bridge on Sept 19, 2025.
Our initiative on Port property kicks off on Sept 27, 2025 developing new multi-use trails on the west side of the SWIFT campus, making connections with:
- Historic Hospital Campus
- Olmsted Park
- Fruitdale Rd
- Brickyard Creek Trail
An important note! The map of proposed trails (below) includes areas not open to the public. Please do not trespass by attempting to explore these potential routes.
