In 2017, discussions with Skagit County Parks and Recreation began. We partnered with them, the Port of Skagit, the City of Sedro-Woolley and United General District #304.
We are working together on Skagit County’s next regional trails system, that links County, Port and City properties.
In the long-term we hope to link the Northern State Regional Trails to “higher elevations” that will increase the park’s regional significance.
